  • How Dwyer Group Leveraged Values to Build a Billion Dollar Company

That’s the headline! And it’s posted on Inc.com by my friend and colleague Kevin Daum, a regular contributor for Inc.

Kevin’s interest in the Code of Values at Dwyer Group and how we’ve created a culture that has delivered both values (ethics) and value (profits) for our organization planted the seed for this wonderful column: “How Dwyer Group Leveraged Values to Build a Billion-Dollar Company”.

I’m the first to say that we have an incredible story to tell. As the subhead puts it: “Lots of companies post values. This one turned them into more than $1.4 billion in sales.”

But are we the only people who can do that? Certainly not. And I hope that Kevin’s readers are inspired to take action and put values to work in their businesses and their lives as well.

It’s that action that makes all the difference. As Kevin puts the question: “Do you live by your values or just say them to feel good?” To be honest, I get to do both! I work hard every day to live by my values…and, yes, when I say them out loud…because we do that at Dwyer Group…they make me feel good too.

I invite you to enjoy Kevin’s column and the six ways you can put values into action. Good ideas are meant to be shared. Feel free to pass it on! For the full article, visit: http://www.inc.com/kevin-daum/bhow-dwyer-group-leveraged-values-to-build-a-billion-dollar-company/b.html
